Description :

A new grocery store in Berlin, Germany named Original Unverpackt has come up with a first-of-its-kind eco-conscious concept. The supermarket has no paper or plastic bags. The store creates zero waste by only selling food product that is consumed. Customers can purchase exactly what they want and put the product in reusable containers. Customers can bring containers from home or buy containers in the store.

The store also does not carry brand name products. Most of its products are organic. The products are stored in bulk bins. They carry fruits, vegetables, dry grains and pourable liquids like yogurt, lotion and shampoo. They have around 350 products in total.

The shop was created by two women and was financed through crowdfunding. The creation of the store was driven by the slogan "Let's be real, try something impossible."
